Product description
The Tribus Volkswagen Crafter is a wheelchair accessible minibus for M1 passenger transport. A solution to transport disabled people, especially designed for taxi and public transport. Thanks to the lightweight design the minibus has a passenger capacity of 8+1 and can be driven with license B. The Tribus Crafter accommodates 8 seats and up to 4 wheelchair places (depends on national regulations).
As a standard the Tribus Crafter is equipped with the ultra-safe floor- and seating system TriflexAIR; a mechanical 4-point wheelchair restraint system that is fully integrated in the floor. Securing and releasing wheelchairs can be done easy and fast, requiring no physical exertion. The TriflexAIR seats can be folded and turned to create space for the wheelchair passenger. TriflexAIR seats are equipped with 3-point seat belts, a height adjustable headrest and ISOFIX attachment point. The minibus is nicely finished with colours and materials that match the Volkswagen interior.
Passengers can easily board through the sliding door at the passenger’s side. The side-entrance has a mechanical folding step or an electrical sliding step. Yellow entry bars at both sides guarantee safety at all times. Disabled people can board by an automated and easy to use wheelchair lift at the rear. In case of an emergency the lift can be opened manually.
